Motown, Miniskirts, and the Moon Landing, 2013

In 2013, the Arsenal Center for the Arts held their annual benefit at which they gave the Charles Mosesian Award for Support of the Arts to long-time supporter, John Airasian. Honoring Mr. Airasian’s fondness of 1950’s-1960’s music and fashion, we created the theme Motown, Miniskirts, and the Moon Landing.

I came up with the design for the printed materials, which were also utilized in the decor for the evening. I was inspired by polka dots, mod design, vintage black & white photography, and chartreuse, which together said “yesterday and today” to me. We printed invitations, posters, postcards, and a 40-page program book, all of which I designed and saw through from concept to completion.

The design & layout were done using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
