Smalls Artisan Mini Potatoes, 2014

This is a web video for Wada Farms’ Smalls Artisan Mini Potatoes. I was commissioned by James & Matthew to write and record the music for this video. The decided direction for the music was dirty sounding indie-pop. I used the production of Bright Eyes’ “Loose Leaves” as inspiration and wrote an instrumental that made me think of forward movement mixed with the feeling of the comfort of home. I recorded & mixed all of the instruments at my home studio, using a combination of Ableton Live and Adobe Audition. The web video features the full 60-second version, but I…

The Tale of the Landlord & Broker Web Video, 2013

I wrote, performed, and recorded the music for this web video, which was created by James & Matthew for IC Credit Union. This is one in a series of fun videos aimed at tackling the financial issues of Gen-Y. I collaborated with Matt Maguy on writing the lyrics and main melody for this one. I recorded & mixed all of the instruments and vocals at my home studio, using a combination of Ableton Live and Adobe Audition. This campaign received one local and two national awards and helped IC Credit Union get to number seven on the list of credit…

Budgeting in B Minor Web Video, 2012

I wrote, performed, and recorded the music for this web video, which was created by James & Matthew for IC Credit Union. This campaign received one local and two national awards and helped IC Credit Union get to number seven…

Arsenal Center for the Arts Website, 2012

I designed the Arsenal Center for the Arts website with Olivia Glennon in 2012 and still maintain the site. This was a complete ground-up build, which catered specifically to the multidisciplinary nature of the organization’s programming, while simultaneously simplifying as many elements as possible for an ideal user experience. The first version went live as an HTML site in 2012, and was then converted to WordPress in 2013. In 2014, we added an online registration system to the site using EventEspresso via WordPress, which I also helped facilitate and design. Visit the site: http://arsenalarts.org/…

Something in the Sky Archive Website, 2010

An archive website for the defunct Massachusetts rock band Lights. This site hosts all the content from their 2003-2007 run, complete with free MP3 downloads of all the band’s albums, photo and video galleries, plus detailed and alternate versions of album artwork. To build this site I used Indexhibit, a portfolio CMS most frequently used by visual artists (painters, printmakers, etc.). Since we had so much visual content for this band, why not bend the rules and use a platform that bands don’t usually use? It was a great fit, and we hope to keep the site running for years…

Arsenal Center for the Arts Education Catalogs, 2009-2015

The Arsenal Center for the Arts offers year-round art & theatre classes, and it has been my role to put together this catalog twice a year (Spring/Summer, Fall/Winter), which showcases all classes and events. The books are two-color, ranging from 24-36 pages. The cover illustration of the building was created by me in 2008 and the design has become a staple in the organization. We print and mail 10,000-12,000 catalogs per session. The layout and design is done using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. We’ve recently added online registration, which has brought the contents of these books to the web…
