A lonely girl falls in love with an alien in this silent short set to the music of The Bynars. The song is a Beatle-esque ballad written by me and produced by The Bynars and Adam Taylor. Our pairing with director Jean-Paul DiSciscio (Overdue Films) for the visuals is one of my favorite creative collaborations ever. We treated this project as a short film, not a music video, and it shows. From the actors’ performances to the art direction & set design to the cinematography to the extended 10-minute remix of the song - this was so creatively fulfilling and the end result was above and beyond what we all expected. This film was released in 2012 and won the $10,000 first prize at the Silver Sound Music Video Festival 2013.
