Smalls Artisan Mini Potatoes

This is a commercial spot for Wada Farms’ Smalls Artisan Mini Potatoes. I was commissioned by James & Matthew to write and record the music. The direction called for dirty sounding indie pop. I used the production of Bright Eyes’ “Loose Leaves” as inspiration and wrote an instrumental that made me think of forward movement mixed with the feeling of the comfort of home. I recorded & mixed all of the instruments at my studio. The web video features the full 60-second version, but I also created a 30-second cut for TV.
